Successful people do the things others aren’t willing to do.
ABout me:
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of making the people around me smile and feel like the best versions of themselves. I’ve always had a lot of energy, but as I’ve grown, I’ve learned how fulfilling it is to channel that energy into supporting others. As a friend, I’m the person who will listen to any problem at any time of day and always be someone’s biggest fan. As a teammate, I genuinely care about each person’s well-being, and I love collaborating with and learning from new people who help me grow. Simply put, where people are is where I want to be. I thrive on connection and believe that every person I meet has the potential to build meaningful relationships. One of my favorite things is introducing friends from different parts of my life and watching those connections turn into friendships of their own.
My mom always referred to me as a “Sporty Spice” growing up, and I can confirm that is still true. Playing football with the boys during recess in elementary school was not every girls choice, but it was mine. I’ve always been drawn to the energy of competition and the sense of community that sports create. Growing up playing every sport I could, I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and dedication. On my high school basketball team, I was known as the “hype woman” - leading defensive chants during games and bringing energy to every practice. I did this because success meant more when it was shared as a team. Now in college, I carry those same values into group projects and class discussions, where collaboration and encouragement still drive me.
I know there is still so much for me to learn, and that’s what excites me most. Every day is an opportunity to grow, improve, and discover new parts of who I am. While I’m proud of the person I’ve become, I’m even more excited about who I’m continuing to become. Each experience has shaped me in its own way, and I look forward to continuing to grow into someone who brings energy, connection, and positivity into the lives of others - just like the “Sporty Spice” I’ve always been.
