FREE PEOPLE Brand EVOLution and Strategy

My team and I researched the brand Free People and built a presentation showing a SWOT analysis of the brand, where we see the brand in the future, and a strategy we think can get the brand to the future they want.

My team and I worked incredibly well together, and communication/team collaboration was one of our team’s strengths. I personally worked a lot on researching what the future of Free People should look like. I researched their current successes, and came up with ideas to help extend that success into the future. Additionally, I created different personas for us to compare during our presentation to help show the audience who Free People will benefit targeting as they continue to grow into an international brand. Lastly, I contributed to many team discussions and helped brainstorm ideas for other members of my group.

This project helped me and my group show off our critical and creative thinking. We were able to think creatively in deciding different avenues that Free People could take in the future, but also we were able to construct a SWOT analysis and use it to understand the most beneficial way for Free People to stay successful. This project focused on team work, research, and creative thinking and I believe I grew tremendously in all three of these categories.
